What is the PDSA raffle?

The PDSA Raffle is an exciting way to show your support and help sick and injured pets. Anyone who is a resident in Great Britain, ‘England, Scotland & Wales’ and over 18 years old may enter, and each 50p entry gives you the chance of winning one of a number of cash prizes.

How many tickets can I buy?

You may purchase from as little as 1 ticket up to a maximum of 40 tickets into each raffle, with each ticket costing 50p.

What is the minimum age to take part in the raffle?

The minimum age for entry into the PDSA Raffle is 18. No prizes will be paid to anyone under the age of 18.

How do I know if I have won?

On the draw date, we will randomly select the winners from all of the entrants. Prizes will be awarded in order of selection. We will contact you within 10 days of the draw date using the details that you supply at the point of purchase. You can also check our winner’s page to see if your ticket number is a winner.

How do I claim a prize?

You won’t need to do anything. We’ll verify your identity in the event of a win, then prize payment shall be made by BACS into the account that payment was initially taken from. If you have paid by cheque or Debit card we shall pay your winnings by cheque.

Why is PDSA doing a raffle?

As a charity, we do not receive any HM Government funding to provide our vital veterinary services, so we are always looking at developing new ways supporters and pet lovers can get involved. Plus, a raffle offers you a way to win guaranteed cash prizes while the proceeds help poorly pets.

How are raffle proceeds used?

In 2023 our Raffle proceeds were £765,907 of which 78% was spent on helping poorly pets, 9% on prizes and 13% on expenses.

What are the odds of winning?

Based on all of PDSA’s 2023 Raffle draws, the odds of winning a prize are 1 in 6,718.

What are the terms and conditions?

The Raffle terms and conditions are a list of rules we adhere to, to ensure you are completely clear about the terms of your entry to our raffle. Click here to see a copy of the terms and conditions.

What is responsible gambling?

No more than 40 tickets may be purchased by an individual under PDSA’s commitment to social responsibility. Most people gamble for fun and enjoyment but sometimes it can lead to financial and social problems. PDSA follows the code of conduct set out by BeGambleAware. For more information please visit www.begambleaware.org

If you feel you are experiencing a problem with playing PDSA raffles, you can either set yourself a limit or self-exclude from our raffles.

What if I have a gambling problem?

Gambling can be great fun, but it is also important for players to know when to stop and what the danger signs are. If you think you may be developing a gambling problem, need help or you suspect someone may have a gambling problem, please refrain from entering the PDSA Raffle. You can also speak to BeGambleAware on 0808 8020 133 or visit www.begambleaware.org. Alternatively, you can visit GamCare at www.gamcare.org.uk.
