PDSA – turning breaking hearts into beating hearts
PDSA is a charity that helps pets in need. For hundreds of thousands of UK pets, we are their only emergency service.
We don’t believe pets should suffer due to financial hardship and right now we are facing a national crisis.
Even in a pandemic, pets still get sick or injured. Despite lockdown and the ongoing impacts of the coronavirus, PDSA will have treated more than 400,000 pets through its Pet Hospitals in 2020, providing over 10,000 emergency and essential operations. And as owners continue to be affected by economic downturn caused by the pandemic we predict around 50,000 more pets we will now be eligible for our services.
We’ve always been here for sick and injured pets, but this Winter we’re facing the biggest challenge in our history. COVID 19 has triggered a series of events which combined, add up to a Pet Care Crisis.
Your help will keep our vital veterinary service going to stop pain and suffering of much-loved pets who can’t help themselves.
